Student Externship Opportunities

Third & Fourth Year Vet Students

At Fletcher Animal Hospital, vet student externs will primarily observe our work in the first few days. However, the large number of cases that each extern will be exposed to, coupled with the knowledge and expertise of our veterinarians, provides an incredibly valuable learning environment. We also regularly expose our externs to interactions with clients.

We try to facilitate as many learning opportunities as possible, from working alongside our licensed vet techs to interacting with our veterinarians. We also welcome our externs to attend any continuing education opportunities that are available during their externship.
